"Yord Sel!"
A few weeks back, the kids were super bored one day and decided that it would be fun to earn some money by having a yard sale... so Teda showed the boys how to find some toys they didn't want anymore, and she helped price them all, put them out on a few tables, and begged us to set the stuff out and have a real yard sale. So we did, and it was too cute.
After about 2 minutes of sitting outside, no one had come to their yard sale. Jett was so upset, crossed his arms, and said, "Why is no one coming to our yard sale?!!" So I texted a few friends and family who live nearby, and a few of them came by! The kids made $10, sold a few of their toys, and were very happy campers!
I loved this because it was all them. They created the whole thing, made their own signs, priced things on their own (things were priced anywhere from FREE to $30!!) Teda said she was just tired of having no money in her piggy bank, and that it was time to get some more. There ya go, that's a great reason to have a yard sale (or yord sel as one of the signs says)! :):):)
