Easter

Our Easter weekend was awesome. We were busy, but it was great. On Saturday morning we had a pancake breakfast in our neighborhood with an egg hunt and a bike parade for the kids (well, and Zach participated in the bike parade too, of course! All the kids had their bikes decorated, and Zach's little motor bike got decorated and he pulled Teda and Dane in their little trailer behind him... it was quite a site- I couldn't stop laughing the whole time the kids paraded around!) The kids had a great time with that, and then we came home and colored eggs and put little stickers on them. It was Dane's first time doing that, and when it was time to put the egg into the dye, he pretty much tossed it in and dye splashed all over- it was cute. Of course Zach and I are trying to keep everything as clean and neat as possible the whole time. Silly isn't it? I know......

Then on Easter Sunday, we went to church, and after that we went over to my Uncle Randy and Aunt Sue's house for lunch and a whole day of relaxing, eating (a LOT), and hanging out with friends and family. It was just awesome! The volleyball net was set up, the weather was gorgeous, and people played lots of volleyball, there was an inflatable thing that the kids played in, they had many easter egg hunts, and just had a blast. Teda played SO hard all day- it was too cute. One of my cousin's kids, Autumn, is one of Teda's favorites. She just plays and plays with Autumn- it's so awesome. We ended up getting home around 8pm- long day of fun and togetherness. I just love holidays. This holiday is awesome because of the meaning of it- Christ being raised from the dead so that we can have eternal life- what a better reason to celebrate!!! Anways, we had a great time and are just so thankful for family and friends to share times like these with. We for sure miss Zach's family though. We love and miss you- Zach's family!
