I'm SO late in getting these on here, but I finally did the little slide show of pictures from Teda's 5th birthday. she had such a great time- she woke up to a decorated hallway leading to the breakfast table, where she had her favorite breakfast food- cereal. Pink shredded wheats. And for a treat, we had pink milk. Then for her party, she invited all of her preschool class, and her friends from church too. We had a great turn out, and it was fun! We just met up at a park near our house, had cupcakes, the kids brought their bikes or scooters for a birthday parade, we did a pinata, and opened gifts. It was fun!
Then after the party, Teda's poppy (Zach's step dad) who was in town from Colorado, got to take Teda out for lunch and shopping for a new outfit. They had fun. When they got home, the first thing Teda told me was "I made poppy tired..." And he did look pretty wiped out after a day with the Shepherds. It was cute.
That night, we went to church, grabbed a pizza, and headed upstairs to see Zach. We ate our pizza, and the kids got to sing with the "big kids" (the 6th graders). It was a wonderful day!

you are so inspiring :) teda has got to feel like the most loved little 5 year old ever! how do you keep up with all this??? thanks for inspiring me to be a better mommy today!
