Colorado Trip- Part 5

The day after Christmas, we got to go and see Courtney's new house. It's so great- totally her style. I think she did a great job picking it out. Then we went to visit more of Zach's family. His Uncle Jess and Aunt Deb- and their kids Jestin, his girlfriend Aileen, Chad (who was not there), Cody, and his fiance Danielle. It was really great to get to see them. The kids played hide and seek with the boys for most of the time we were there, so we got a chance to really talk with Jess and Deb.

When Zach was younger, he lived right across the street from a lake, Sloans Lake in Colorado. Not to mention- in a house that his dad built himself- isn't that cool? He said that the school he went to, you could see the lake out of the windows. Every weekend, they water skiid (is that how you spell it? It looks wrong) with his family, along with Jess, Deb and the kids. So they have shared many many memories together. Zach would so love to get a boat someday and get our family in the water like his family did- he really loved doing that. :)

Then when we got back, Zach's nana and her friend John came over to see us once more. We had snacks together, and hung out a bit. That was nice to see them again.

And Friday night, we left the kids at home with Mom and Ron, and we got to go out to dinner with Courtney, Matt, Heather, and Randy. We had a blast, and I wish we could just go do that whenever we wanted to. I wish we all lived in one place so we could see each other more.

The last day of our trip was for packing and resting up for the long drive back to AZ. And that's just what we did. Before we left, Zach's uncle Chap, Aunt Kristi, and his cousin Emily came to see us once more. So we visited with them for a bit, and then we were off.

We had such an amazing trip, we wish it could've lasted longer. The kids ADORE grammy and poppie, and as a matter of fact asked if we could go to Colorado again today. :) I wish we could see them more often. Hopefully we will get to see them again soon because we miss them already!
