Visit To Grandma Bonnie's

We're back from California, and we had an awesome and relaxing trip. It's always so nice to go visit Grandma Bonnie. We got to go to the new library, play on the playground at the park, the kids played hide and seek with Grandma Bonnie, and she read to them a lot too. They just love her, and so do I! Each morning, she made us breakfast, which is the norm. Zach has eaten at the same breakfast counter since he was just a kid, and she's always made him breakfast. He has memories of her making him mickey mouse pancakes, and watching the Disney channel at her house. When he was 4, his mom and dad let him go on a plane from Colorado to California to visit her. That was part of their summers, he and his sister Courtney (when she was old enough) would go visit Grandma Bonnie and Grandpa Joe. She's just wonderful. I just loved watching them play hide and seek together. We of course went to Vince's for spaghetti. This restaraunt has been around for so long. Zach's dad actually ate there when he was a baby. And I'm proud to say that Jett had his first Vinces this weekend, and LOVED it. He ate his brother and sister under the table! Grandma Bonnie couldn't get the spaghetti in fast enough.

Zach's Aunt Claudia (Grandma Bonnie's sister) and Uncle Fred met us there for dinner, which was so nice to see them. They just love the kids too, and the kids love them!

The weekends go by too fast when we're in California. So we're now back, and getting back into the swing of things. Thanks for a wonderful weekend, Grandma Bonnie! :)
